Erdogan, Zelenskyy hold talks in Ankara

(MENAFN) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Wednesday in Ankara, according to reports. Zelenskyy is visiting Türkiye for a working trip.

Erdogan welcomed his counterpart at the presidential complex, where the two leaders posed for photographs in front of the Turkish and Ukrainian flags before heading into a meeting.

Also attending were Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalin, and Akif Cagatay Kilic, Erdogan’s chief adviser on foreign policy and security.

Following the meeting, the two presidents are scheduled to have a working dinner and hold a joint news conference.
